Whats the story behind your E30
I was so tired of building cars, so when I found this online for sale, I had to buy it.

Seller said the car was in Mint condition, I should have checked it more carefully. But is not every day one comes across such a car. so I bought it unseen and untried.

 

When I finally got the car home, it was very much poor work in the electrical, engine looked good except that the motor mounts, transmission mount was loose, holes in the fuel tank, rust, poor finish on the interior.

and so on.

 

Have spent many hours on the electrical system, taken apart most of the car and given the proper love it deserves. In Norway, the rules are very strict when it comes too converted cars.

And the rules are changed very often. Had the final review with the Department of Motor veichles last fall. trouble getting approved exhaust. But now the car is approved with Turbo Engine, roll gage, suspension, brakes and racing seats. The rims are not approved, will try again this summer

 

Now we are waiting for summer here in Norway, track days and warm summer nights

What got you into E30‘s?
I Have owned many BMWs, most BMW E36, I have built a BMW E36 M3 3.2 and a BMW E36 Wide Body trackcar from scratch. but the E30 has more soul. can not quite put my finger on what it is with E30. Must be the first time I tried an E30 M3 with S50B32 engine, who initiated the passion for E30

rebuilding My driftcar, new engine, Bodywork and rollcage

Any plans for the future?
The plan is to replace the entire interior, maybe rims?
Really happy with the look, so 2012 season, I’ll just drive around and enjoy myself
